JOHN H. CAMPBELL III - CEO & Co-Founder

Mr. John H. Campbell III serves as Chief Executive Officer of Percussion. Prior to co-founding Percussion, Mr. Campbell was a Sr. Business Development Engineer at Rockcliff Energy where his responsibilities included acquisitions and divestitures, relationship management and proprietary deal sourcing. Prior to Rockcliff, Mr. Campbell was a production and completions engineer in the Ark-La-Tex, Mid-Con and Permian basins at Quantum Resources Management. Mr. Campbell began his career at El Paso E&P serving in various engineering roles.  

Mr. Campbell holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

 

 

LUPE CARRILLO - COO & Co-Founder

Mr. Lupe G. Carrillo serves as Chief Operating Officer. Prior to co-founding Percussion, Mr. Carrillo was Planning Manager at Rockcliff Energy where his responsibilities included capital budgeting, strategic planning and acquisitions and divestitures. Prior to Rockcliff, Mr. Carrillo was a planning manager at Quantum Resources Management where he managed capital budgeting and production operations. Mr. Carrillo has also held various positions with Quantum Energy Partners, Houston Exploration Company, XTO Energy, and Schlumberger.

Mr. Carrillo holds a B.S. in Geology from the University of Houston.

 

 

BRIAN ZWART - Vice President of Engineering

Mr. Brian A. Zwart serves as Vice President of Engineering for Percussion. Prior to joining Percussion, Mr. Zwart was a Sr. Reservoir Engineer at Rockcliff Energy where his responsibilities included evaluating reservoir characteristics, production performance and completion techniques. Prior to Rockcliff, Mr. Zwart was a reservoir engineer in the Ark-La-Tex and Mid-Con basins at Quantum Resources Management. Mr. Zwart began his career at Devon Energy serving in various engineering roles.

Mr. Zwart holds a B.S. in Petroleum Engineering from The University of Texas at Austin.

 

 

C.J. LIPINSKI - Vice President of Geology

C.J. Lipinski serves as Vice President of Geology for Percussion. Prior to joining Percussion, Mr. Lipinski worked 7.5 years at Chevron.  The last 4 years were spent serving as a Carbonate Subject Matter Expert where he conducted fundamental research to understand and characterize carbonate reservoirs, while providing geologic technical services to business units globally.  C.J.’s first 3.5 years at Chevron were located in the San Joaquin Valley where he received extensive brownfield operational experience with expertise in planning and geosteering horizontal wells, and project management.

Mr. Lipinski holds a B.S. in Geology from The University of Wisconsin at Oshkosh and a M.S. in Geology from The University of Kansas at Lawrence.

 

 

JOSH GRISHAM- Vice President of Land, CPL

Mr. Josh B. Grisham serves as Vice President of Land for Percussion. Prior to joining Percussion, Mr. Grisham was Sr. Staff Landman at EP Energy E&P Company where he was responsible for leasing, development and acquisition and divestiture activities in the Eagle Ford group. Prior to EP Energy, Mr. Grisham was a Land Negotiator in the North Rockies group at EnCana Oil & Gas. Mr. Grisham began his career at Merit Energy where he served as an Associate Landman.

 Mr. Grisham holds a BBA in Petroleum Land Management and Business Management from Texas Tech University.

 

 

LELAN ANDERS- Vice President of Operations

Mr. Lelan J Anders serves as Vice President of Operations for Percussion.  Prior to Percussion, Mr. Anders was Operations Manager at Halcon Resources where he oversaw completion operations and production for Eagleford, Austin Chalk, TMS, and Utica wells.  Prior to Halcon , Mr. Anders acted as a drilling and completions engineer at Newfield Exploration overseeing drilling and completion operations in the Eagleford and completion operations in the Bakken.  Mr. Anders has held various positions with TXCO Resources, Baker Oil Tools, and Caza Drilling.

 Mr. Anders holds a B.S. in Mechanical & Electrical Engineering from Montana Tech University.
